A/Prof Marilyn JOhnson

Marilyn is one of Australia’s leading cycling safety experts with over fifteen years of cycling research expertise. Formerly the Research and Policy Manager of the Amy Gillett Foundation, she was the lead on the national campaign for minimum passing distance (a metre matters). She is a highly effective advocate for change for safe cycling for everyone on a bike.

dr Vanessa JOhnston

Vanessa is a lawyer and legal academic and expert in the regulation of low and zero emissions transport, carbon pricing, and land use planning in relation to climate change. As a Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Business and Law at RMIT University, she has been involved in a range of legal and interdisciplinary research projects relating to sustainable transport and the contribution that it can make to Australia’s transition to a low carbon economy. She regularly consults to government and public authorities on regulatory aspects of active transport in Australia.

A/Prof Robbie Napper

Robbie is an industrial designer and expert in low and zero emission human powered and public transport vehicles. As Co-Director of Monash University’s Mobility Design Lab he researches how the design of vehicles, parking and infrastructure can improve transport outcomes while lowering emissions. Robbie has twelve years experience leading research for industry and government in active and public transport.
